Sundays

'Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children.' (Mark 10:14)

We love having children in our church and seek to make Sunday mornings fun and engaging for them.  Our aim is that all of the children in our church come to understand the love of God for themselves and develop their own relationship with Jesus.

The children join in the first part of the service for family worship before going out to their separate groups after about 25 minutes. Our Sunday morning children's groups all meet in Hersham Youth Centre, which is opposite the church on Arch Road.  We ask parents and carers to walk their children across the road and collect them from their groups at the end of the service.  We also have a children's area at the back of church for anyone who would like to keep their children in the service.

From September 2017 we will be relaunching our Sunday childrens groups and there will be three groups running during the second half of the Sunday morning service:

  • Scramblers: for 0-3 yr olds;
  • Explorers: for children in their pre-school year up to Year 2;
  • Adventurers: for children in years 3 and up.

We will be using a new series in our older two groups from September called 'Connected'.  The sessions all involve games, a focus on the BIble, prayer, singing, activities and reflection time.

Please e-mail Heather if you would like to find out more about our Sunday morning children's groups.
